Stephen was born in England ca. 1808 and married, first, Caroline BRANCH prior to 1851, and married, second, Catherine BABBITT between 1871-1881. Stephen and Caroline gave issue to at least 8 children: William B., b. ca 1833, Stephen H., b. ca 1836, James F., b. ca. 1840, Caroline Elizabeth, b. ca 1842, Robert Lary, b. ca 1845, Edward Page, b. ca 1847, George Albert, b. ca 1849, and Reuben John, b. ca 1852. Caroline died in the year of the 1871 census at the age of 61.
In the 1881 census, Stephen FLINDALL, the senior, is listed with Catherine BABBITT as his wife and a minor child, Hellena, b. ca 1863, in the household. Stephen has been a farmer throughout his life.
William B. FLINDALL married Catherine CONNELL, who was born in Ireland ca 1839; 7 Children are listed in the 1861-1881 census records: Caroline Ann, b. ca 1857, Manda V., b. ca 1858, William Armond, b. ca 1860, Mary F., b. ca 1863, Helena T., b. ca 1865, Francis E., b. ca 1867, and Emma G., b. ca 1870.
Stephen H. FLINDALL is shown in the census records as Henry FLINDALL. Henry married Elizabeth MILLER who was b. ca 1836 in Ontario. Their children include: Mary Elizabeth, b. ca 1858, Marshall, b. ca 1860, Frances, b. ca 1863, Anna F., b. ca 1868, also known as "Lola", and Minnie, b. ca 1874. Henry was a Farmer.
James FLINDALL married Adelade LANGDON in late 1860's. Their children include: Emma Augusta, b. ca 1869, Sarah A., b. Mar 1871, who may also have been known as Betsy, Mary, b. ca 1873, Herbert, b. ca 1875, and Charles, b. ca 1878. James was a Farmer.
Robert Lary FLINDALL married Sarah MAY, who was b. ca 1851 in Ontario. Their children include: Fred, b. ca 1874, Arthur, b. ca 1875, and Harry, b. ca 1879. Robert was a Farmer.
Edward Page FLINDALL married Sarah WHITE, who was b. ca 1856 in Ontario. The 1881 census shows one child: Frank, b. ca 1876. Edward was a Farmer.
George Armond FLINDALL married Hester, surname unknown to the author. Hester was born in Ontario, ca 1857. The 1881 census shows the following children: Sarah, b. ca 1873, Carry, b. ca 1875, John, b. ca 1877, Eddy, b. ca 1879, and Edwey, b. ca 1880.
