Created December, 2011My family connections researched so far include the names STEPHENSON (STEVENSON), ARMSTRONG, CRAWFORD, SPENCE, WORRELL, ANDERSON, MACPHERSON.
As far as can be determined, all names except for Macpherson, originated in County Fermanagh and Tyrone in Ireland. The Macpherson clan hailed from Inverness, Scotland.
In tracing my family history I have been the fortunate recipient of a lot of partial family genealogies and snippets of information that have come my way from many helpful family members. I also was fortunate to inherit two family bibles dating from the mid-1850's, as well as photograph albums that cover 100 or so years of family history. In the early going I also found census information that was extremely helpful in placing family members.
