Cramahe Township Pioneers


Nathaniel Mix, born Jun 1802, Cramahe Twp,, died Oct 1879 Iowa, US.
    + Rebecca Blakely, born abt 1803, died 1875, Iowa.  Her father, John
was supposedly a Loyalist.  Rebecca was deeded some land in Ontario
because of this.
        1.  William Mix, born Jun 1828 location not known for certain,
            but possibly Cramahe Twp.  Died 1904
        2.  Charity Mix, born either Jan or May 1833 Perce, Gaspe-Est,
            Quebec, Canada, died 1854
        3.  Elizabeth Mix, born 1840, Cramahe Twp, Newcastle District,
            Ontario
        4.  Baby girl (Elizabeth's twin), died as a child
        5.  Charles Holley Mix, born c1842, Bath, Kent Parish, New
            Brunswick
        6.  Olivia Mix, born 1845, Illinois, USA
        7.  Mary Ann Mix, born 1847, Illinois, USA

As you can see, the family moved about a bit and ended up in 
Wisconsin,USA, eventually. Rebecca's father is unknown,
except as noted above.  Nathaniel Mix, Sr. and
Rebecca were married in Cramahe Twp with Rebecca being a 
resident of the township and William being a resident of Asphodel.
